Mackenzie Blackwood has been one of the worst goalies in the NHL all season and his struggles continued against Calgary. Blackwood gave up three goals on 41 shots to post a .927 save percentage in just under 63 minutes on the ice. William Eklund and Jacob MacDonald led the way for the San Jose offense pumpkin one goal each.

The Seattle Kraken stay on their home ice Thursday with 30 three wins on the year after winning three of the last four. Offensively Seattle has been a bottom feeder averaging 2.65 goals per game on 28.6 shots but have averaged four goals per game across their last three victories. Defensively Seattle has struggled as well allowing 2.79 goals on nearly 30 shots but have given up 3 total goals in their last three wins.

Philipp Grubauer had one of his best games of the year last time out against Arizona stopping all 39 shots against resulting in the shutout victory. Justin Schultz rolled for the Seattle offense leading the way with one goal and one assist, while four other Seattle players chipped in one goal each. Matty Beniers and Oliver Bjorkstrand chipped in heavily with two assists apiece.
