Kaapo Kahkonen was horrendous in the net for San Jose in their last outing boasting a .828 save percentage after giving up five goals on 29 shots before Anaheim found the empty net as well. Anthony Duclair led the way for the San Jose offense with two goals and one assist on five shots in just over 19.5 minutes of the ice. Mike Hoffman chipped in one goal and one assist, while Mikael Granlund added three assists in more than 25 minutes on the ice.

The Minnesota Wild return home Sunday with 28 wins on the year riding a two game skid into this matchup. Offensively Minnesota has been a middle of the pack team averaging 3.1 goals on 30.2 shots. Defensively the Wild have struggled immensely giving up 3.33 goals per game and have allowed 4.5 goals during their two game losing streak.

Filip Gustavsson was obliterated in the net for Minnesota in their last game giving up six goals on 31 shots to boast a .806 save percentage in the game. Connor Dewar showed the only life in the game for Minnesota with one goal and two shots in just over 13 minutes on the ice. Two other Minnesota players added to the offense with one assist each.
