The NHL season is ready to kick off the preseason this weekend. It has been a long 3 months of waiting for the NHL fans and some off season moves were made that could turn out to benefit a lot of teams. However, like always some teams will end up being a flop again, but still it is preseason time and let’s check out the games of the first day of NHL preseason on Saturday 9/24/22. Ottawa Senators at Toronto Maple Leafs, 

The Senators are coming back after a vast improvement over the previous seasons. The Maple Leafs are heading back after being disappointed in the final result of the year. With this being the first preseason game, though, look for the Senators to pull out the win as the Maple Leafs are still trying to figure out what happened last season.

Boston Bruins at Philadelphia Flyers

A great way to start off the preseason for a couple of storied franchises is with a rivalry game. Granted, most of the players playing in this game will be unlikely to know the rivalry as well as the veterans, but it will provide plenty of action with the Bruins coming out on top.

Ottawa Senators at Toronto Maple Leafs Game 2

The second game of the same teams playing here is going to be much of the same as the first. However, in the time between the games look for the Maple Leafs to make all the required adjustments to lock up the win here.

Saint Louis Blues at Arizona Coyotes

The Coyotes were horrible last year and have had a lot of financial issues which kept the club from signing any big name players. Look for the lack of new blood to contribute to another season of losing for the Coyotes starting in this game here.
