Calgary has scored 19 goals thus far in the preseason and has allowed just nine and have the second best goal difference in the NHL thus far at +10, behind only the +12 by the Dallas Stars. Calgary has victories over Vancouver, Seattle and Winnipeg, while its only loss thus far was to Seattle.

Calgary's most recent victory in the preseason was a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets in a shootout. Dryden Hunt and Connor Zary each scored one goal for Calgary in the victory. Andrew Mangiapane scored on a wrist shot during the shootout and Dustin Wolf followed with the winning save for the Flames in the victory.
