Detroit has lost three of its last five and has struggled to generate consistent scoring. Alex DeBrincat leads with 31 goals and 200 shots, while Lucas Raymond has chipped in 69 points with 46 assists. The Red Wings average just 2.82 goals per game and sit at 28.3% on the power play, but special teams haven’t helped enough. Cam Talbot and Alex Lyon have shared the net lately—Lyon has the better goals-against average at 2.78, while Talbot holds a 2.96 mark.

Defensively, Detroit’s numbers aren’t strong. The team gives up 3.16 goals per game and allows nearly 29 shots on goal. The penalty kill is hurting them badly at just 69.9%. Adin Hill has been excellent, posting a 2.50 GAA and a .907 save percentage with four shutouts. The penalty kill unit is operating at 76.8% and the defensive core is still functioning well even with Shea Theodore on IR. 

Vegas was embarrassed in Detroit, but they don’t stay down long, especially on home ice where they've won 25 times. Detroit’s defense ranks near the bottom with a 69.9% PK and 3.16 goals-against per game, and missing key defenders like Petry and Gustafsson only makes it worse. With Adin Hill in the net and Eichel and Dorofeyev buzzing, Vegas should control this game from the jump. Final Score Prediction: Vegas Golden Knights win 4-2.
