Flames vs Ducks Picks and Prediction – 4/13/2024

The Calgary Flames go back on the road again Friday with a game out west in Anaheim against the Anaheim Ducks. Calgary has just 35 wins in the year following a one goal victory over San Jose in their last outing. Offensively the Flames have been a middle of the pack team in the NHL scoring 3.04 goals on 31.4 shots. Danny Wolf did just enough in the net for Calgary in their last outing boasting a .909 save percentage for giving up just two goals on 22 shots in just under 62.5 minutes on the ice. Andrei Kuzmenko and Nazem Kadri carried the scoring for Calgary with one goal and one assist each.

The Anaheim Ducks stay on their home ice Friday with 26 points on the year following a two goal victory against Los Angeles to end the day two game skid. Offensively Anaheim is one of the worst teams in hockey scoring just 2.47 goals on 26.8 shots. Defensively Anaheim has been even worse giving up 3.58 goals on nearly 30 three shots per game this year.

Lukas Dostal had his best game in recent memory for Anaheim last time out with a .973 save percentage of giving up just one goal on 37 shots and 60 minutes of game time. Anaheim got a balanced scoring attack as three different players found the net to score one goal each. Ryan Strome chipped in heavily leading the team with two assists, while two other Ducks added one assist apiece.
