Wizards vs Pacers Picks and Prediction – 11/24/2024

The Wizards (2-12) are in the midst of a ten-game losing streak and own the worst record in the NBA. On Friday, Washington was outscored by 14 points during the second half of a 108-96 home loss versus Boston. 

Washington G Jordan Poole tallied a team-high 23 points on 9-for-19 shooting and dished out nine assists. Kyle Kuzma scored 21 points on 10-for-19 from the field and finished with a plus six rating. Veteran G Malcolm Brogdon added 18 points (7-13 FG) and ten rebounds for the Wizards. 

The Indiana Pacers have won four of their first six home games and have been hampered by early season injuries. The Pacers (6-10) rank 26th in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering a shade below 120 points per game. On Friday, Indiana trailed by 12 points after one quarter and allowed Milwaukee to shoot 53 percent from the field during a 129-117 road loss.

All-Star F Pascal Siakam led five Indiana players in double figures with 25 points (9-16 FG) and eight rebounds. Benedict Mathurin missed 12 of 18 field goal attempts and finished with 20 points. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points and nine assists for the Pacers.

Indiana starters Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Andrew Nembhard (knee) are targeting December 1st as a return date. These two teams rank in the top 12 of the league in tempo and struggle to get stops.
