Jazz vs Wizards Picks and Prediction – 3/6/2025

The Jazz (15-46) have lost 22 of their first 29 road games and are sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Utah surrendered at least 31 points in each quarter and allowed Detroit to shoot 55 percent from the field during an ugly 134-106 home loss. 

Kyle Filipowski tallied a team-high 25 points on 7-for-13 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds in just 24 minutes off the Utah bench. Collin Sexton scored 16 points (6-6 FT) and dished out three assists. Walker Kessler added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Jazz. 

The Washington Wizards have dropped 25 of their first 31 home games and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (11-49) rank last in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 108.1 points per game. On Monday, Washington missed 25 of 35 three-point attempts and trailed by 19 points at halftime during a 106-90 road loss against Miami. 

Khris Middleton led Washington with 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting in just 23 minutes of action. Rookie G Bub Carrington scored 14 points (5-15 FG) to go along with seven assists and five boards. Kyshawn George added ten points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Wizards. 

Utah will be without G Jordan Clarkson (foot), G Collin Sexton (ankle), F Lauri Markkanen (back), F John Collins (back), and C Walker Kessler (rest) for this contest. These two teams rank in the top ten of the league in tempo, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on the Wizards to win and cover against an undermanned Jazz squad.
