Jazz vs Hornets Picks and Prediction – 3/31/2025

The Jazz (16-59) are in the midst of a five-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. On Friday, Utah shot an ice cold 36 percent and was outscored by 26 points during the second half of an ugly 129-93 road loss against Denver. 

Collin Sexton led five Utah players in double figures with 20 points on 8-for-18 shooting. Keyonte George scored 18 points (5-17 FG) in 35 minutes off the bench. Rookie F Kyle Filipowski added 18 points and 13 rebounds for the Jazz, who fell to 7-29 on the road. 

The Charlotte Hornets are looking to snap a five-game losing streak and have been eliminated from postseason contention. The Hornets (18-56) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging a measly 105.7 points per game. Last night, Charlotte was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 98-84 road loss against New Orleans. 

Charlotte F Miles Bridges tallied a team-high 20 points on 7-for-16 shooting and secured six rebounds. Nick Smith Jr. scored 19 points (7-16 FG) in 35 minutes off the bench. Jusuf Nurkic added 13 points and 12 boards for the Hornets, who shot an ice cold 35 percent from the field.

Utah big men Lauri Markkanen (knee) and Walker Kessler (conditioning) will remain sidelined for this game. Charlotte G LaMelo Ball will miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.
