Jazz vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 4/6/2025

The Jazz (16-62) are in the midst of an eight-game losing streak and own the worst record in the NBA. On Friday, Utah was outscored by 24 points over the final 12 minutes of a 140-112 road loss against Indiana. 

Utah G Collin Sexton led all scorers with 27 points on 8-for-15 shooting, but posted a team worst minus 27 rating. Johnny Juzang knocked down 5-for-12 from long distance and finished with 17 points. Keyonte George and Isaiah Collier added 15 points each for the Jazz, who shot an ice cold 38 percent from the field. 

The Atlanta Hawks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and hold a one-game lead for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (37-40) rank 17th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 120 points per contest. On Saturday, Atlanta was outscored by 18 points during the second quarter of a 121-105 home loss versus New York. 

All-Star G Trae Young tallied a team-high 16 points on 5-for-15 shooting and dished out nine assists. Caris LeVert and Terance Mann scored 14 points apiece off the Atlanta bench on a combined 12-for-19 shooting effort. Number one overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher added 12 points and four rebounds for the Hawks. 

Utah will be without starting forwards John Collins (ankle) and Lauri Markkanen (knee) for this contest. These two teams rank in the top five in tempo and the Jazz are the worst defensive team in the league. Look for Atlanta to win at home in a game that soars over the total.
