Raptors vs Pistons Picks and Prediction – 11/26/2024

The Raptors (4-13) are winless through their first nine road games and are surrendering a shade below 119 points per contest. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for Toronto, who was outscored by 16 points during the first quarter of Sunday’s 122-108 loss against Cleveland. 

Scottie Barnes and Gradey Dick paced six Toronto players in double figures with 18 points on an ineffective 11-for-31 shooting effort. R.J. Barrett scored 16 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists. Jakob Poeltl added 12 points and 19 rebounds for the Raptors. 

The Detroit Pistons are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and are playing more competitive basketball for first year head coach J.B. Bickerstaff. The Pistons (7-11) rank 12th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 111.6 points per game. On Saturday, Detroit trailed by 12 points after one quarter during a 111-100 road loss against Orlando. 

Detroit G Jaden Ivey tallied a team-high 19 points on 6-for-16 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Malik Beasley knocked down 4-for-7 from long range and finished with 18 points. Marcus Sasser added 13 points off the bench for the Pistons, who were outrebounded by a 44-34 margin. 

Detroit G Cade Cunningham is dealing with a hip injury and is listed as doubtful for this contest. The Pistons are the better defensive team and own the edge on the glass. Take Detroit to win and cover at home. Final Score Prediction, Detroit Pistons win 118-107.
