Spurs vs Raptors Picks and Prediction – 2/13/2024

The Spurs (10-43) are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. On Saturday, San Antonio was outscored in each quarter and allowed Brooklyn to shoot 56 percent from the field during a 123-103 road loss.

Number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama tallied a team-high 21 points (7-16 FG) and finished with a minus 20 rating. Keldon Johnson added 19 points (7-14 FG) and four rebounds off the bench for the Spurs, who shot 40 percent from the field. 

The Toronto Raptors were sellers at the trade deadline and have centered their rebuilding effort around All-Star F Scottie Barnes. The Raptors (19-34) have dropped seven of their last ten games and are allowing 117.5 points per contest. On Saturday, Toronto fell behind by 20 points at halftime and shot just 40 percent from the field during a 119-95 home loss versus Cleveland. 

Scottie Barnes tallied a game-high 24 points (9-15) to go along with ten rebounds and ten assists. R.J. Barrett added 14 points (5-14 FG) and seven rebounds for the Raptors. Newly acquired F Kelly Olynyk scored 11 points in 22 minutes off the Toronto bench.
