Kings vs Wizards Picks and Prediction – 4/2/2025

The Kings (36-39) have lost seven of their previous ten games and are clinging to a one-game lead over Phoenix for tenth place in the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Sacramento was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 111-109 road loss against Indiana. 

All-Star G/F DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 31 points on 12-for-24 shooting and dished out eight assists. Domantas Sabonis scored 25 points on 11-for-19 from the field and secured 16 rebounds. Zach LaVine added 20 points and five rebounds for the Kings, who fell to 17-20 on the road. 

The Washington Wizards have dropped 30 of their first 37 home games and own the worst overall record in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards (16-59) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 120.9 points per game. On Monday, Washington missed 30 of 43 three-point attempts and committed 18 turnovers during an ugly 120-94 home loss versus Miami. 

Washington G Jordan Poole knocked down 7-for-13 from long distance and finished with a game-high 35 points. Tristan Vukcevic added 14 points and four rebounds off the bench. The rest of the Washington starting lineup combined for 29 points on a woeful 11-for-42 shooting effort.

Washington will be without rotation pieces Marcus Smart (finger), Kyshawn George (ankle), Khris Middleton (knee), and Malcolm Brogdon (ankle) for this contest.
