Kings vs Hornets Picks and Prediction – 4/4/2025

The Kings (36-40) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and are clinging to a one-game lead over Phoenix for tenth place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, Sacramento missed 29 of 39 three-point attempts during a 116-111 road loss against lowly Washington. 

All-Star G/F DeMar DeRozan tallied a game-high 29 points (8-12 FT), eight assists, and seven rebounds. Sacramento F/C Domantas Sabonis added 18 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists. Zach LaVine and Keegan Murray scored 18 points apiece for the Kings, who fell to 17-21 on the road. 

The Charlotte Hornets have dropped 26 of their first 38 home games and have been eliminated from postseason contention. The Hornets (19-57) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging a measly 105.6 points per game. On Wednesday, Charlotte turned the ball over 18 times during a 119-105 road loss against Indiana. 

Miles Bridges led four Charlotte players in double figures with 18 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Talented C Mark Williams scored 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting and grabbed 12 rebounds. Veteran G Seth Curry added 16 points and four boards for the Hornets. 

Charlotte G LaMelo Ball underwent two successful surgeries (ankle/wrist) and is expected to be ready for the start of next season. The Kings rank ninth in the league in offensive efficiency and the Hornets are coasting to the finish line. Look for Sacramento to get a road victory that goes over the total.
