Kings vs Celtics Picks and Prediction – 1/11/2025

The Kings (18-19) are riding a five-game winning streak and seem to have ignited a spark for new head coach Doug Christie. On Monday, Sacramento erased a ten-point deficit entering the fourth quarter and needed two overtimes to earn a 123-118 home victory versus Miami. 

Sacramento G/F DeMar DeRozan led all scorers with 30 points on 12-for-26 shooting and finished with a plus 24 rating. Malik Monk chipped in 23 points (8-25 FG) and six assists. Domantas Sabonis added 21 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 assists for the Kings. 

The Boston Celtics have won 13 of their first 19 home games and trail Cleveland by 5.5 games for the top spot in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics (27-10) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 118.5 points per game. On Tuesday, Boston outscored Denver by 12 points in the second half to capture a 118-106 road victory. 

All-Star F Jayson Tatum tallied a game-high 29 points on 11-for-23 shooting and dished out six assists. Boston C Kristaps Porzingis contributed 25 points (9-18 FG) and 11 rebounds. Jrue Holiday added 19 points and seven assists for the Celtics, who shot 50 percent from the field. 

Sacramento G De’Aaron Fox (glute) did not play during Monday’s victory and is listed as questionable for this contest.
