Kings vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 11/1/2024

The Kings (2-2) rank eighth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 110.5 points per game. On Tuesday, Sacramento outscored Utah by 15 points during the third quarter to pull away for a 113-96 road triumph. 

All five Sacramento starters scored in double figures and were led by Domantas Sabonis with 28 points. All-Star G/F DeMar DeRozan chipped in 20 points on 9-for-14 shooting and dished out eight assists. De’Aaron Fox added 19 points and six assists for the Kings, who shot 52 percent from the field. 

The Atlanta Hawks are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and still are searching for answers on the defensive end of the floor. The Hawks (2-3) currently rank 26th in defensive efficiency and are surrendering a shade below 124 points per contest. On Wednesday, Atlanta was torched for 76 points during the second half of a 133-120 road loss against Washington.

All-Star G Trae Young tallied a game-high 35 points on 12-for-28 shooting and dropped 15 dimes. Jalen Johnson scored 21 points on 9-for-21 shooting and secured 17 boards. David Roddy and number one overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher added 17 points apiece for the Hawks. 

Atlanta F De’Andre Hunter (knee) did not play during Wednesday’s loss and his status for this game is uncertain. The Hawks play at the fourth fastest tempo in the league, so the over is worth a look. The stronger play is on Atlanta to bounce back with a home victory. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Hawks win 122-119.
