Trail Blazers vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 4/1/2025

The Trail Blazers (32-43) are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and are on the verge of being eliminated from postseason contention. On Sunday, Portland was outscored by 25 points during the second half of a 110-93 road loss against New York.

Portland F Deni Avdija led all scorers with 33 points on 14-for-25 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Talented G Shaedon Sharpe scored 23 points on 10-for-18 from the floor and pulled down seven boards. Toumani Camara added 16 points and eight rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who fell to 12-25 on the road. 

The Atlanta Hawks are two games above .500 at home and hold a half-game lead over Orlando for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (36-38) play at the third fastest tempo in the league and are scoring a shade below 118 points per game. On Sunday, Atlanta assisted on 36 of 50 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall during a 145-124 road triumph against Milwaukee. 

Number one overall draft pick Zaccharie Risacher erupted for a career-high 36 points (12-21 FG) and six rebounds. Atlanta G Dyson Daniels contributed 22 points, nine rebounds, six assists, and five steals. All-Star G Trae Young added 19 points and 19 assists for the Hawks. 

Portland C Deandre Ayton (calf) and G Scoot Henderson (concussion) will remain sidelined for this game. These two teams are very similar statistically and the Trail Blazers provide plenty of value to bounce back from their loss on Sunday. Take Portland to pull off the upset on the road.
