Suns vs Lakers Picks and Prediction – 10/27/2023

In the second game of a Thursday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Phoenix Suns will travel to Crypto.com Arena to face the Los Angeles Lakers. For more NBA action see our NBA Picks. The Suns landed All-Star G Bradley Beal in the offseason and own the fourth shortest odds to win the NBA Championship. On opening night, Phoenix outscored Golden State by ten points in the fourth quarter to earn a 108-104 road victory. 

All-Star G Devin Booker poured in a game-high 32 points on 13-for-21 shooting to go along with eight assists and six rebounds. F Kevin Durant chipped in 18 points (7-22 FG) and 11 rebounds for the Suns, who held the Warriors to 36 percent shooting. 

The Los Angeles Lakers come into the 2023-2024 campaign with plenty of optimism after reaching the Western Conference Finals a season ago. For the Lakers to make another deep postseason run, forwards LeBron James (28.9 ppg) and Anthony Davis (25.9) will have to stay healthy. On Tuesday, Los Angeles trailed by 14 points after one quarter and could never recover during a 119-107 road loss against Denver. 

All five Los Angeles starters scored in double figures and were led by LeBron James with 21 points on 10-for-16 from the floor. Anthony Davis added 17 points (6-17 FG) and eight rebounds for the Lakers, who missed 19 of 29 three-point attempts.
