76ers vs Raptors Picks and Prediction – 3/12/2025

The 76ers (22-42) have lost eight of their previous ten games and have been the most disappointing team in the NBA. On Monday, Philadelphia allowed Atlanta to shoot 54 percent from the field and was dominated on the glass during a 132-123 road loss. 

Philadelphia G Quentin Grimes led all scorers with 35 points on 14-for-25 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and five assists. Ricky Council IV scored 19 points (7-13 FG) in 29 minutes off the bench. Jeff Dowtin Jr. added 17 points and four assists for the 76ers, who fell to 10-21 on the road. 

The Toronto Raptors are five games below .500 at home and have their sights set on the future. The Raptors were able to land talented F Brandon Ingram at the trade deadline and he should boost an offense that ranks 25th in the league in efficiency. On Monday, Toronto outscored Washington by 15 points during the third quarter to pull away for a 119-104 home victory. 

A.J. Lawson erupted for a game-high 32 points (7-14 3pt) and 12 rebounds in 33 minutes off the Toronto bench. Immanuel Quickley chipped in 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists. R.J. Barrett added 14 points, ten rebounds, and eight assists for the Raptors. 

Philadelphia played without starters Tyrese Maxey (back), Joel Embiid (knee), Paul George (groin), and Kelly Oubre (ankle) during Monday’s loss. Maxey and Oubre are considered questionable for this game. These two teams rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and the 76ers are playing at a faster tempo without Embiid.
