76ers vs Rockets Picks and Prediction – 3/18/2025

On Sunday, Philadelphia outscored Dallas by 16 points in the third quarter and held on late for a 130-125 road victory. 

Quentin Grimes tallied a team-high 28 points on 10-for-19 shooting and dished out six assists. Jalen Hood-Schifino connected on 5-for-9 from long distance and finished with 19 points off the bench. Guerschon Yabusele added 14 points and six rebounds for the 76ers, who shot 52 percent from the field. 

The Houston Rockets are riding a six-game winning streak and are locked in a three-way tie for second place in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets (43-25) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 108.7 points per contest. On Saturday, Houston dominated Chicago on the glass (54-36) during a 117-114 home victory. 

Houston G Jalen Green led all scorers with 28 points on 11-for-25 shooting and pulled down six boards. All-Star C Alperen Sengun contributed 24 points (9-18 FG), 15 rebounds, and four assists. Fred VanVleet added 23 points and seven assists for the Rockets, who improved to 25-10 at home. 

Houston F Amen Thompson suffered a left ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated sometime this week. The Rockets are the superior defensive team and hold a major advantage on the glass. Take Houston to win and cover at home. Final Score Prediction, Houston Rockets win 118-97.
