76ers vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 3/10/2025

The 76ers (22-41) have dropped nine of their last 11 games and have been the most disappointing team in the NBA. Last night, Philadelphia built a 22-point lead and held on for a 126-122 home victory versus Utah. 

Lonnie Walker IV and Quentin Grimes led six Philadelphia players in double figures with 25 points each on a combined 14-for-31 from the floor. Jared Butler added 15 points (5-8 FG) and nine assists for the 76ers, who converted 24 of 25 free-throw attempts. 

The Atlanta Hawks are a game below .500 at home and are clinging to a half-game lead for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (30-34) rank 20th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up a shade below 120 points per contest. On Saturday, Atlanta missed 24 of 24 three-point attempts during a 120-118 home loss versus Indiana. 

All-Star G Trae Young erupted for a game-high 36 points on 11-for-24 shooting and dished out seven assists. Caris LeVert scored 26 points (10-17 FG) in 33 minutes off the Atlanta bench. Onyeka Okongwu added 16 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks for the Hawks. 

Atlanta G Trae Young is dealing with a quadriceps injury and is listed as questionable for this game. The Hawks play at the second fastest tempo in the league and the 76ers are playing faster without Joel Embiid in the mix. I have no interest in backing Atlanta at this price, but the over is a good bet to cash. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Hawks win 123-115.
