Magic vs Raptors Prediction

Scotiabank Arena will play host to a Tuesday night NBA clash between the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Magic (23-21) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and trail Atlanta by a half-game for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Orlando was outscored by 14 points during the third quarter of a 113-100 home loss versus Denver.

Wendell Carter Jr. led six Orlando players in double figures with 16 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists. Anthony Black scored 14 points in 28 minutes off the bench. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 12 points and four assists for the Magic, who shot an ice cold 37 percent from the field.

The Toronto Raptors are four games below .500 at home and own the second worst overall record in the NBA. The Raptors (10-32) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 118.5 points per game. On Friday, Toronto trailed by 15 points after one quarter and could never recover during a 130-112 road loss against Milwaukee.

R.J. Barrett led seven Toronto players in double figures with 21 points (7-16 FG) and ten assists. Bruce Brown scored 17 points on 6-for-11 shooting in 20 minutes off the bench. Jakob Poeltl added 12 points and ten rebounds for the Raptors, who missed 26 of 34 three-point attempts.

Orlando G Jalen Suggs (back) did not play during Sunday’s loss and his status for this game is uncertain.

Magic vs Raptors Pick Analysis

Orlando struggles to shoot the ball from the three-point line and does not have the weapons to take advantage of Toronto’s porous defense. Take the Raptors to win at home. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Raptors win 110-107.
