Magic vs Hornets Picks and Prediction – 11/26/2024

On Saturday, Orlando raced out to a 12-point lead after one quarter and controlled the second half of a 111-100 home victory versus Detroit. 

Orlando F Franz Wagner tallied a game-high 30 points on 11-for-22 shooting to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Moritz Wagner added 18 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Magic, who converted 19 of 22 free-throws. 

The Charlotte Hornets have won five of their first eight home games and are locked in a four-way tie for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hornets (6-10) rank in the bottom third of the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 110.6 points per game. On Saturday, Charlotte connected on 19-for-47 from the three-point line during a 125-119 road loss against Milwaukee. 

Charlotte G LaMelo Ball erupted for a game-high 50 points on 17-for-38 shooting and dished out ten assists. Second-year pro Brandon Miller knocked down 6-for-13 from long distance and finished with 32 points for the Hornets. 

Charlotte F Grant Williams suffered a torn ACL in his right knee and will miss the remainder of the season. The Magic are the superior defensive team and that will be the difference in this game. Take Orlando to win and cover on the road. Final Score Prediction, Orlando Magic win 111-102.
