Magic vs Nets Picks and Prediction – 11/30/2024

The Magic (13-7) have reeled off four straight victories and are sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Wednesday, Orlando built a 19-point halftime lead and coasted to a 133-119 home victory versus Chicago. 

Orlando G Jalen Suggs tallied a game-high 31 points on 10-for-18 shooting and dished out seven assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope knocked down 6-for-10 from long distance and finished with 24 points. Franz Wagner added 21 points and six assists for the Magic. 

The Brooklyn Nets have won three straight games and will be playing without leading scorer Cam Thomas (hamstring) for the next few weeks. The Nets (9-10) are a game above .500 at home and giving up 114.4 points per contest. On Wednesday, Brooklyn outscored Phoenix by 12 points during the third quarter of a 127-117 road victory. 

Tyrese Martin led six Brooklyn players in double figures with 30 points (8-10 3 PT) in 28 minutes off the bench. Dennis Schroder scored 29 points on 8-for-21 shooting and pulled down four boards. Cameron Johnson added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Nets. 

Orlando F Paolo Banchero is recovering from a torn right oblique and hopes to return to action in a couple of weeks. These two teams rank near the bottom of the league in tempo, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on the Magic to win and cover on the road.
