Magic vs Celtics Picks and Prediction – 4/30/2025

In Tuesday night NBA playoff action, the Orlando Magic will square off against the Boston Celtics from TD Garden. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The seventh-seeded Magic (1-3) lost G Jalen Suggs for the season to a knee injury and lack the perimeter attack to threaten the Celtics. In Game Four, Orlando missed 22 of 30 three-point attempts and shot 43 percent overall during a 107-98 home loss.

Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero continued his stellar postseason debut with 31 points (12-32 FG) and seven rebounds. Orlando F Franz Wagner added 24 points, seven assists, and six rebounds. Cory Joseph scored 12 points and dished out six assists for the Magic.

The Boston Celtics ranked fourth in the league in defensive efficiency during the regular season and have improved those numbers in this series. Through four games, the second-seeded Celtics (3-1) have allowed the Magic to reach the century mark just once. During Sunday’s road victory, Boston outrebounded the Magic by a 46-38 margin and used a 16-7 run over the final 4:18 to prevail.  

All-Star F Jayson Tatum poured in a game-high 37 points (14-14 FT), 14 rebounds, and three steals. All-Star G Jaylen Brown chipped in 21 points (9-10 FT) and 11 rebounds. Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points and five rebounds for the Celtics, who won despite shooting 9-for-31 from the three-point line. 

Boston G Jrue Holiday remained sidelined in Game Four with a hamstring injury and is listed as day-to-day. The Magic are averaging a shade below 95 points in this series and will not reach 90 in this one.
