Magic vs Celtics Picks and Prediction – 4/20/2025

On Tuesday, Orlando raced out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and held Atlanta to 38 percent shooting during a 120-95 home victory. 

Cole Anthony led five Orlando players in double figures with 26 points and six assists in just 20 minutes off the bench. Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Bancheo contributed 17 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists. Anthony Black added 16 points and four assists for the Magic, who outrebounded the Hawks by a 54-42 margin. 

The Boston Celtics never dropped more than one game in a playoff series during last year’s title run and are primed to do it again. The second-seeded Celtics (61-21) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.3 points per game. On Sunday, Boston rested their entire starting lineup during a 93-86 home victory versus lowly Charlotte. 

Boston G Payton Pritchard poured in a game-high 34 points (14-25 FG) to go along with seven rebounds, and seven assists. Sam Hauser nailed 4-of-7 from long range and finished with 15 points. Luke Kornet added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Celtics, who improved to 28-13 at home. 

Boston G Jaylen Brown (knee) was a full participant in Tuesday’s practice and is expected to play in this game. The Magic defeated the Celtics twice in three meetings this season, but the one time Boston had their entire starting lineup resulted in a 121-94 home victory.
