Knicks vs 76ers Picks and Prediction – 4/25/2024

In the first game of a Thursday night NBA on TNT Playoff doubleheader, the New York Knicks will battle the Philadelphia 76ers from the Wells Fargo Center. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The second-seeded Knicks took the first two games of this best-of-seven series at home and have dominated the 76ers on the glass. On Monday, New York erased a five-point lead in the final minute to earn a stunning 104-101 home victory.  

All five New York starters scored in double figures and were led by All-Star G Jalen Brunson with 24 points. Josh Hart contributed 21 points on 7--for-16 shooting and grabbed 15 rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo knocked down 4-for-8 from long distance and finished with 19 points for the Knicks. 

The Philadelphia 76ers finished the regular season on an eight-game winning streak and averaged a shade below 115 points per game. During Monday’s road loss, Philadelphia assisted on 26 of 36 made field goals and shot 43 percent from the field. The seventh-seeded 76ers missed 23 of 36 three-point attempts and were outscored 40-28 in the paint.  

All-Star G Tyrese Maxey poured in a game-high 35 points (12-22 FG) to go along with ten assists and nine rebounds. MVP Joel Embiid scored 34 points on 12-for-29 shooting and pulled down ten boards. The rest of the Philadelphia starting lineup combined for 22 points on a woeful 8-for-24 from the floor.
