Knicks vs Pistons Picks and Prediction – 4/10/2025

The Knicks (50-29) have won seven of their last ten games and hold a two-game lead over Indiana for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Tuesday, New York missed 27 of 38 three-point attempts during a 119-117 overtime loss versus Boston. 

All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns matched a game-high with 34 points on 14-for-21 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds. All-Star G Jalen Brunson scored 27 points on 10-for-21 from the floor and dished out ten assists. Mikal Bridges added 14 points and four assists for the Knicks, who fell to 27-13 at home. 

The Detroit Pistons are three games above .500 at home and are sitting in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pistons (43-36) rank ninth in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 113.2 points per game. On Monday, Detroit was outscored by 20 points during the second half of a 127-117 home loss versus Sacramento. 

All-Star G Cade Cunningham tallied a team-high 35 points (13-21 FG) and five assists. Detroit G/F Tim Hardaway Jr. knocked down 4-for-11 from long distance and finished with 19 points. Ausar Thompson added 15 points and five boards for the Pistons, who were outrebounded by a 50-37 margin. 

Detroit F Tobias Harris (heel) did not suit up for Monday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. These two teams will likely face each other in the first round of the playoffs, so it will be interesting to see if some players are held out.
