Knicks vs Nets Picks and Prediction – 4/13/2025

The Knicks (50-31) are six games above .500 on the road and have locked up the number three seed in the Eastern Conference. On Friday, New York was outscored by 14 points during the fourth quarter of a 108-102 home loss versus Cleveland. 

All-Star G Jalen Brunson led all scorers with 27 points on 9-for-17 from the floor. New York G Mikal Bridges scored 17 points on 6-for-13 shooting and pulled down eight boards. OG Anunoby added 15 points and four assists for the Knicks, who were outrebounded by a 49-35 margin. 

The Brooklyn Nets have dropped 28 of their first 40 home games and have been eliminated from postseason contention. The Nets (26-55) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging a measly 105.1 points per game. On Friday, Brooklyn missed 29 of 41 three-point attempts and shot just 37 percent overall during a 117-91 road loss against Minnesota. 

Brooklyn G Keon Johnson tallied a team-high 20 points (8-8 FT), six assists, and five rebounds. Trendon Watford scored 15 points on 7-for-15 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Jalen Wilson added 14 points and nine boards for the Nets.

New York F/C Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) did not suit up for Friday’s loss and is expected to be ready for the start of the postseason. The Knicks have nothing to gain by winning this game and All-Star G Jalen Brunson will likely be among the starters who rest. Take the Nets to win at home.
