Timberwolves vs Wizards Picks and Prediction – 1/14/2025

The Washington Wizards are in the midst of a six-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (6-31) rank last in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 122.3 points per contest. On Sunday, Washington trailed by 24 points at halftime during an ugly 136-95 home loss versus Oklahoma City. 

Corey Kispert tallied a team-high 17 points on 6-for-9 shooting in 24 minutes off the Washington bench. Jordan Poole converted all seven free-throw attempts and finished with 13 points. Rookie F Alexandre Sarr added ten points and six rebounds for the Wizards, who missed 37 of 46 three-point attempts. 

Minnesota rookie G Rob Dillingham is dealing with an ankle sprain and will remain sidelined for this game. The Timberwolves have struggled to gel on offense and rank 19th in the league in efficiency.
