Timberwolves vs Hornets Picks and Prediction – 3/6/2025

All-Star G Anthony Edwards added 18 points and five rebounds for the Timberwolves, who shot a sizzling 56 percent from the field.  

The Charlotte Hornets are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and own the second worst overall record in the NBA. The Hornets (14-46) rank near the bottom of the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring a measly 105,1 points per contest. On Monday, Charlotte turned the ball over 17 times and shot just 40 percent from the field during a 119-101 home loss versus Golden State. 

Charlotte F Miles Bridges poured in a game-high 35 points on 11-for-20 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. LaMelo Ball scored 25 points (8-21 FG) to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Mark Williams added 12 points and 13 rebounds for the Hornets, who fell to 9-22 at home. 

Minnesota C Rudy Gobert did not play last night due to a back injury and his status for this contest is uncertain. The Timberwolves rank in the middle of the pack in offensive efficiency and both teams prefer a slower pace. Look for Minnesota to win on the road in a game that stays under the total.
