Bucks vs Wizards Picks and Prediction – 2/22/2025

The Bucks (30-24) are four games below .500 on the road and trail Indiana by one full game for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Last night, Milwaukee outscored the LA Clippers by 15 points over the final 12 minutes to earn a 116-110 home victory. 

All-Star F Giannis Antetokounmpo led six Milwaukee players in double figures with 23 points (10-14 FG) and eight rebounds. Veteran C Brook Lopez chipped in 22 points (8-14 FG) and seven boards. Damian Lillard added 15 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists for the Bucks. 

The Washington Wizards have dropped 23 of their first 28 home games and own the worst overall record in the NBA. The Wizards (9-45) rank last in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 122 points per contest. Last time out, Washington was unable to protect a 19-point lead during a 134-130 overtime loss against visiting Indiana. 

Washington G Jordan Poole erupted for a game-high 42 points on 15-for-29 shooting and dished out five assists. Corey Kispert knocked down 5-for-6 from long distance and finished with 21 points. Rookie G Bub Carrington added 18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Wizards. 

Milwaukee F Bobby Portis (tramadol) has been suspended 25 games for violating the league’s Anti-Drug program. The Wizards rank fourth in the league in tempo and have no answer on the defensive end for Giannis. Look for Milwaukee to score at will and cruise to a road victory.
