Bucks vs Trail Blazers Picks and Prediction – 1/29/2025

In the second game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Milwaukee Bucks will invade the Moda Center to take on the Portland Trail Blazers. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Bucks (26-18) have won nine of their last 11 games and are sitting in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Last night, Milwaukee assisted on 33 of 52 made field goals and shot 61 percent overall during a 125-110 road victory against lowly Utah. 

Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard led Milwaukee with 35 points apiece on a combined 30-for-45 shooting effort. Khris Middleton added 22 points off the bench for the Bucks, who improved to 9-11 on the road. 

The Portland Trail Blazers are four games below .500 at home and own the third worst overall record in the Western Conference. The Trail Blazers (17-29) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 115.3 points per contest. On Sunday, Portland was outscored by 13 points during the second quarter of a 118-108 home loss versus Oklahoma City. 

Portland F Deni Avdija tallied a team-high 28 points (9-16 FG), eight rebounds, and eight assists. Second-year pro Scoot Henderson scored 25 points in 30 minutes off the bench. Toumani Camara added 24 points and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who connected on 18-for-40 from the three-point line.

Portland C Deandre Ayton (knee) did not play during Sunday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. The Bucks are the better team on both ends of the floor, but the Trail Blazers have been playing well as of late. Take Portland to pull off the upset at home.
