Bucks vs Celtics Picks and Prediction – 10/28/2024

The Bucks were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season and their title window might be closing. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for Milwaukee, who was outscored by ten points during the second half of a 115-102 loss against Brooklyn last night. 

All-Star F Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 22 points (7-11 FG) to go along with 12 rebounds and seven assists. All-Star G Damian Lillard added 21 points (10-11 FT) and four assists for the Bucks, who shot 45 percent from the field. 

The Boston Celtics ended a 16-year NBA Championship drought with their victory against Dallas and moved past the Los Angeles Lakers with 18 titles. The Celtics (3-0) lead the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 126 points per game. On Saturday, Boston raced out to an 11-point lead after one quarter and connected on 22-for-48 from the three-point line during a 124-118 road victory against Detroit. 

All-Star F Jayson Tatum continued his revenge tour with a game-high 37 points on 12-for-26 shooting. All-Star G Jaylen Brown contributed 24 points, ten rebounds, and five assists. Al Horford and Derrick White added 17 points apiece for the Celtics. 

Milwaukee will be without G/F Khris Middleton (ankle) and Boston continues to play without C Kristaps Porzingis (foot).The Celtics were the best offensive team in the league last year and are exceeding those numbers through their first three games.
