Heat vs Knicks Picks and Prediction – 3/17/2025

The Heat (29-38) are looking to snap a seven-game losing streak and are clinging to a one-game lead over Chicago for ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Saturday, Miami missed 28 of 37 three-point attempts and shot just 40 percent overall during an ugly 125-91 road loss against Memphis. 

Miami F/C Kel’el Ware tallied a team-high 19 points on 8-for-14 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Olympic Gold Medalist Bam Adebayo added 18 points (7-15 FG) and six boards. Jaime Jacquez Jr. and Kyle Anderson scored 13 points apiece off the bench for the Heat, who fell to 14-21 on the road. 

The New York Knicks won two games on their recent five-game road trip and are sitting in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Knicks (42-24) rank fifth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 116.8 points per contest. On Saturday, New York was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 97-94 road loss against Golden State. 

All-Star F/C Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers with 29 points on 12-for-21 shooting and secured 11 rebounds. OG Anunoby continued his stellar two-way play with 23 points (7-9 FT) and nine boards. Mikal Bridges and Miles McBride added 19 points each for the Knicks, who shot 43 percent from the field.  

New York G Jalen Brunson is recovering from an ankle sprain and hopes to return to the lineup early next month. The Heat are playing at the slowest tempo in the league and the Knicks rank 24th in that category. With New York returning from an extended road trip, take Miami plus the points.
