Heat vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 4/18/2025

The Heat (37-45) have won seven of their last 11 games and rank 11th in the league in defensive efficiency. On Wednesday, Miami built a 24-point halftime advantage and cruised to a 109-90 road triumph against Chicago.

Miami G Tyler Herro poured in a game-high 38 points on a 13-for-19 shooting performance and pulled down five boards. Andrew Wiggins chipped in 20 points (8-20 FG) and nine rebounds. Bam Adebayo and Davion Mitchell added 15 points each for the Heat, who outrebounded the Bulls by a 45-38 margin.

The Atlanta Hawks finished the regular season on a three-game winning streak and are allowing 119.3 points per game. On Tuesday, Atlanta was outscored by 19 points over the final 12 minutes of a 120-95 road loss against Orlando. The Hawks missed 17 of 21 three-point attempts and shot an ice cold 38 percent overall.

All-Star G Trae Young led all scorers with 28 points (11-12 FT) and six assists before being ejected in the fourth quarter. Georges Niang scored 15 points on 5-for-11 shooting in 23 minutes off the Atlanta bench. Onyeka Okongwu added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Hawks. 

Atlanta C Clint Capela (hand) did not play during Tuesday’s loss and will remain sidelined for this contest. These two teams split their four-game regular season series, but the Heat scored a combined 153 points in taking the most recent two meetings.
