Lakers vs 76ers Picks and Prediction – 1/29/2025

The Lakers (26-18) are riding a four-game winning streak and have moved into fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Last night, Los Angeles raced out to a 20-point lead after one quarter and shot 51 percent from the field during a 112-107 road victory against Charlotte. 

Los Angeles F Anthony Davis erupted for a season-high 42 points on 17-for-28 shooting and grabbed 23 rebounds. LeBron James scored 22 points to go along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Austin Reaves added 17 points and six assists for the Lakers. 

The Philadelphia 76ers have dropped 13 of their first 20 home games and trail Chicago by one game for tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The 76ers (17-27) rank 24th in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 108.1 points per contest. On Saturday, Philadelphia outscored Chicago by 15 points over the final 12 minutes to earn a 109-97 road victory. 

Philadelphia G Tyrese Maxey tallied a game-high 31 points on 12-for-23 shooting and dished out nine assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. contributed 22 points (9-18 FG) and 12 rebounds. Reggie Jackson scored 12 points in 15 minutes off the bench for the 76ers.

Philadelphia will be without C Joel Embiid (knee), G Paul George (finger), and F Caleb Martin (hip) for this game. The Lakers are the better offensive team and have the edge on the glass.
