Lakers vs Bucks Picks and Prediction – 3/13/2025

The Lakers (40-23) have lost consecutive games and trail Denver by one full game for second place in the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Los Angeles was unable to protect an early 15-point lead during a 111-108 road loss against Brooklyn.

Los Angeles G Gabe Vincent knocked down 6-for-9 from long distance and led all scorers with 24 points. All-Star G Luke Doncic scored 22 points (8-26 FG) to go along with 12 rebounds and 12 assists. Austin Reaves added 17 points (10-11 FT), ten assists, and eight rebounds for the Lakers. 

The Milwaukee Bucks have won 21 of their first 32 home games and are locked in a three-way tie for fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Bucks (36-28) rank 12th in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 112.5 points per game. On Tuesday, Milwaukee gave up a four-point play to Indiana G Tyrese Haliburton during the final seconds of a disappointing 115-114 road loss.

Milwaukee C Brook Lopez tallied a team-high 23 points on 9-for-11 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo added 19 points (9-14 FG), 17 rebounds, and seven assists. Taurean Prince scored 18 points for the Bucks, who shot 51 percent from the field. 

Los Angeles forwards LeBron James (groin) and Rui Hachimura (knee) will remain sidelined for this contest. The Lakers have dropped the first two games of their current four-game road trip and it will not be any easier with Denver on deck.
