Lakers vs Pacers Picks and Prediction – 3/29/2024

In the first game of a Friday NBA TV doubleheader, the Los Angeles Lakers will invade Gainbridge Fieldhouse to take on the Indiana Pacers. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Lakers (41-32) are riding a five-game winning streak and are 1.5 games behind Sacramento for eighth place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, Los Angeles scored 30 plus points in each quarter and shot 56 percent from the field during a 136-124 road victory against Memphis. 

Los Angeles F Rui Hachimura led all scorers with 32 points on 11-for-14 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. All-Star F LeBron James contributed 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. D’Angelo Russell added 23 points for the Lakers, who connected on 18-for-33 from the three-point line. 

The Indiana Pacers are six games above .500 at home and hold a one-game lead over Miami for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Pacers (41-33) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 122.9 points per contest. On Wednesday, Indiana trailed by 21 points at halftime during an ugly 125-99 road loss against Chicago. 

Andrew Nembhard led five Indiana players in double figures with 18 points (7-12 FG) and five rebounds. Pascal Siakam scored 14 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. All-Star G Tyrese Haliburton added 13 points and five assists for the Pacers.
