Clippers vs Raptors Picks and Prediction – 2/2/2025

The Clippers (28-20) have won seven of their last ten games and trail Denver by a game for fourth place in the Western Conference standings. On Friday, LA assisted on 26 of 44 made field goals and shot 54 percent overall during a 112-104 road victory against lowly Charlotte.

LA G Norman Powell matched a game-high with 27 points on an 11-for-15 shooting performance. LA F Kawhi Leonard chipped in 21 points (8-17 FG) and nine rebounds. All-Star G James Harden added 14 points and ten assists for the Clippers, who improved to 11-12 on the road.  

The Toronto Raptors have won seven of their previous ten games and are 5.5 games back of Chicago for tenth place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Raptors (15-33) rank in the bottom third of the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up 116.5 points per contest. On Friday, Toronto was outscored by 11 points during the second half of a 122-106 home loss versus Chicago. 

Scottie Barnes led five Toronto players in double figures with 20 points (8-20 FG), ten rebounds, and five assists. R.J. Barrett added 19 points on 8-17 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. Immanuel Quickley scored 14 points in 15 minutes for the Raptors, who fell to 11-14 at home. 

LA G Norman Powell is dealing with left hip soreness and will not suit up for this game. The Raptors have been playing much better in recent weeks, especially on their home floor. The Clippers will miss Powell’s scoring punch and the Raptors will pull off the upset. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Raptors win 112-109.
