Clippers vs Magic Picks and Prediction – 3/31/2025

The Clippers (42-32) are four games below .500 on the road and are a game out of sixth place in the Western Conference standings. On Sunday, LA allowed Cleveland to shoot 51 percent from the field during a 127-122 road loss. 

LA G Norman Powell poured in a game-high 34 points on 13-for-24 shooting and dished out four assists. All-Star G James Harden scored 24 points to go along with eight rebounds and eight assists. Ivica Zubac added 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers. 

The Orlando Magic have won six of their previous ten games and are tied with Atlanta for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Magic (36-39) rank second in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 105.8 points per game. On Saturday, Orlando raced out to a 17-point lead after one quarter and connected on 18-for-39 from long distance during a 121-91 home victory versus Sacramento.

Former number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero led all scorers with 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Orlando F Franz Wagner scored 21 points on 8-for-12 shooting. Caleb Houstan added 18 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Magic, who improved to 20-18 at home. 

LA F Kawhi Leonard (knee) was ruled out of yesterday’s loss and his status for this game is uncertain. These are two of the top four defensive teams in the league, so we could be in for a low-scoring affair. The Clippers feature the better offense and have the advantage on the glass.
