Clippers vs Pelicans Picks and Prediction – 3/12/2025

On Sunday, LA shot 53 percent from the field and needed overtime to earn a 111-110 home victory versus Sacramento. 

All-Star G James Harden tallied a team-high 29 points (10-19 FG) to go along with 11 assists and nine rebounds. LA C Ivica Zubac contributed 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting and secured 14 boards. Kawhi Leonard added 17 points and four rebounds for the Clippers, who improved to 22-10 at home.

The New Orleans Pelicans are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and own the second worst record in the Western Conference. The Pelicans (17-48) rank near the bottom of the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 119.1 points per game. On Sunday, New Orleans was outscored by 17 points during the third quarter of a 107-104 home loss versus Memphis. 

Trey Murphy III led seven New Orleans players in double figures with 27 points (9-21 FG) and five rebounds. Karlo Matkovic added 13 points and 11 rebounds off the bench. Jose Alvarado dished out 11 assists for the Pelicans, who fell to 11-21 at home. 

LA will be without PG Ben Simmons (knee) and G Norman Powell (hamstring for the next few games.
