Pacers vs Knicks Picks and Prediction – 5/24/2025

The World’s Most Famous Arena will play host to Game Two of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks on Friday night. In the series opener, Indiana erased a 14-point deficit in the final three minutes of regulation to claim a 138-135 overtime victory. 

Indiana G Tyrese Haliburton sent the game into overtime on a long two-point jump shot and finished with a team-high 31 points. Aaron Nesmith knocked down 8 of 9 three-point attempts and scored 30 points. All-Star F Pascal Siakam added 17 points, six assists, and five rebounds for the Pacers. 

The New York Knicks are making their first appearance in the conference finals since 2000 and have dropped four of their first seven home playoff games. The third-seeded Knicks rank fourth during the postseason in defensive efficiency and have been boosted by the presence of reserve C Mitchell Robinson. During Wednesday’s crushing home loss, New York committed 15 turnovers that led to 27 Indiana points. 

NBA Clutch Player of the Year Jalen Brunson poured in a game-high 43 points on 15-for-25 shooting and dished out five assists. All-Star C Karl-Anthony Towns added 35 points (11-17 FG) and 12 rebounds. OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges scored 16 points apiece for the Knicks. 

Both teams were healthy coming into this best-of-seven series and there are no significant injuries to report. The Knicks played well for 43 minutes, but suffered a collapse down the stretch never before seen in NBA postseason history. New York outrebounded Indiana by a 46-39 margin and will even things with a home victory on Friday. Final Score Prediction, New York Knicks win 119-108.
