Pacers vs Timberwolves Picks and Prediction – 3/18/2025

On Saturday, Indiana was outscored by 13 points during the third quarter of a 126-119 road loss against Milwaukee. 

Indiana G/F Aaron Nesmith scored a team-high 30 points on an 11-for-16 shooting performance. All-Star F Pascal Siakam added 26 points (12-22 FG) and seven rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton tallied 24 points, 15 assists, and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Pacers. 

The Minnesota Timberwolves are riding an eight-game winning streak and have moved into a tie with Golden State for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. The Timberwolves (40-29) rank seventh in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing a shade below 109 points per contest. Last night, Minnesota outscored Utah by 12 points in the third quarter to pull away for a 128-102 home victory. 

All-Star G Anthony Edwards poured in a game-high 41 points (16-27 FG) and finished with a plus 31 rating. Minnesota F Jaden McDaniels chipped in 20 points (8-13 FG) and 12 rebounds. Donte DiVincenzo added 11 points and seven assists for the Timberwolves, who improved to 20-14 at home. 

Minnesota G Mike Conley (rest) did not play during yesterday’s game and is expected to suit up for this contest. The Timberwolves are the better defensive team and have the edge in the rebounding battle, so I like their chances to win at home.
