Pacers vs Rockets Picks and Prediction – 11/21/2024

On Sunday, Indiana trailed by 12 points at halftime and allowed Toronto to shoot a sizzling 59 percent from the field during a 130-119 road loss. 

Benedict Mathurin led five Indiana players in double figures with 28 points (10-16 FG) and five boards. Pascal Siakam added 25 points, ten rebounds, and five assists. Obi Toppin scored 19 points (8-13 FG) in 31 minutes off the bench for the Pacers. 

The Houston Rockets have won six of their first eight home games and are sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference standings. The Rockets (10-5) rank third in the league in defensive efficiency and are allowing 105.7 points per game. On Sunday, Houston missed 23 of 32 three-point attempts and shot just 40 percent overall during a 101-100 road loss against Milwaukee. 

Houston G Fred VanVleet tallied a team-high 26 points (9-23 FG), six rebounds, and five assists. Jalen Green scored 21 points on an inefficient 9-for-24 from the field. Alperen Sengun added 18 points, seven rebounds, and five assists for the Rockets. 

Indiana will be without starters Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Andrew Nembhard (knee) until the beginning of next month.
