Pacers vs Hawks Picks and Prediction – 3/9/2025

On Thursday, Indiana was outscored by 14 points during the fourth quarter of a 124-118 road loss against Atlanta. 

All-Star F Pascal Siakam poured in a game-high 35 points on 12-for-18 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. Indiana F Aaron Nesmith knocked down 4-for-9 from long distance and finished with 21 points. Andrew Nembhard added 15 points and ten assists for the Pacers. 

The Atlanta Hawks are two games below .500 at home and are sitting one game back of Miami for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hawks (29-34) rank 19th in the league in defensive efficiency and are giving up a shade below 120 points per contest. During Thursday’s home victory. Atlanta assisted on 32 of 50 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall.

Georges Niani led five Atlanta players in double figures with 24 points (10-15 FG) and six rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench. All-Star G Trae Young contributed 22 points (7-7 FT) and 16 assists. Onyeka Okongwu added 20 points (7-8 FG) and 13 rebounds for the Hawks. 

Indiana G Tyrese Haliburton was scratched from Thursday’s lineup with a hip injury and is listed as day-to-day. The Hawks play at the second fastest tempo in the league, so plenty of points are expected in this one. The Pacers do a better job of taking care of the basketball and will win the rematch.
