The New York Knicks have won seven of their last ten games and are two games behind Boston for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. The Knicks (32-17) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are scoring 117.7 points per contest. On Saturday, New York was outscored by 14 points during the fourth quarter of a 128-112 home loss versus Los Angeles. 

Josh Hart led seven New York players in double figures with 26 points (11-16 FG), 13 rebounds, and 11 assists. All-Star G Jalen Brunson scored 17 points and dished out seven assists. Precious Achiuwa added 15 points and 15 rebounds off the bench for the Knicks, who allowed the Lakers to shoot a sizzling 58 percent from the field. 

Houston G Fred VanVleet (ankle) has been ruled out and All-Star C Alperen Sengun (calf) is listed as questionable for this contest. The Knicks have been exposed by good three-point shooting teams, but the Rockets rank 27th in the league in that category.
