Warriors vs Suns Picks and Prediction – 12/1/2024

The Warriors (12-6) are looking to snap a three-game losing streak and trail Houston by one full game for second place in the Western Conference standings. On Wednesday, Golden State stormed back from a 19-point deficit before faltering down the stretch of a 105-101 home loss versus Oklahoma City. 

Jonathan Kuminga led six Golden State players in double figures with 19 points (8-21 FG) and four rebounds. Buddy Hield knocked down 5-for-8 from long distance and finished with 17 points. Andrew Wiggins added 16 points and five rebounds for the Warriors, who shot an ice cold 36 percent from the field. 

The Phoenix Suns have dropped seven of their last ten games and are struck in ninth place in the Western Conference standings. The Suns (10-8) rank tenth in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 113.2 points per contest. On Wednesday, Phoenix was outscored by 12 points during the third quarter of a 127-117 home loss versus Brooklyn. 

All-Star G Devin Booker tallied a game-high 31 points on 8-for-18 shooting and dished out four assists. All-Star F Kevin Durant added 30 points (10-18 FG) and eight rebounds for the Suns, who shot 53 percent from the field. 

Golden State G Steph Curry (knee soreness) did not play during Wednesday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this game. The Warriors are the better defensive team and hold the edge on the glass. Take Golden State to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win 116-112.
