The Boston Celtics have won their first two home games and trail Cleveland by one game for the best record in the Eastern Conference. The NBA Champion Celtics (7-1) rank second in the league in offensive efficiency and are averaging 123.6 points per game. On Monday, Boston assisted on 27 of 48 made field goals and shot 49 percent overall during a 123-93 road triumph against Atlanta. 

All-Star F Jayson Tatum tallied a game-high 28 points (10-21 FG) to go along with nine assists and six rebounds. Derrick White chipped in 21 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Payton Pritchard added 18 points in 25 minutes off the bench for the Celtics. 

Boston G Jaylen Brown did not play during Monday’s victory due to a hip injury and is listed as questionable for this game.
