Pistons vs Wizards Picks and Prediction – 3/29/2024

In Friday night NBA action, the Detroit Pistons will travel to the nation’s capital to face the Washington Wizards. For other NBA action see our NBA Predictions. The Pistons (12-61) are looking to snap an eight-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the league. On Wednesday, Detroit was outscored by ten points during the third quarter of a 106-91 road loss against Minnesota. 

Former number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham tallied a game-high 32 points on 11-for-23 shooting. Malachi Flynn added 14 points and five rebounds off the bench for the Pistons, who shot a frigid 38 percent from the field. 

The Washington Wizards have dropped 29 of their first 35 home games and have a long rebuilding process ahead. The Wizards (14-59) rank second worst in the league in defensive efficiency and are surrendering 123.4 points per game. On Wednesday, Washington was limited to seven points during the overtime period of a 122-119 home loss versus Brooklyn. 

Washington G Jordan Poole matched a game-high 38 points (15-24 FG) to go along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Kyle Kuzma scored 24 points on 10-for-19 shooting and dished out ten assists. Deni Avdija added 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards.
